Schola Cantorum Concert: 5 November 2017

The Schola Cantorum of St. Mary’s will present a program devoted to the music of Franz Schubert, including excerpts from his Deutsche Messe and other chamber and choral works. Individual members of the Schola will also sing some of Schubert’s most beloved solo songs, including his “Ave Maria” in the original poetic German. The singers will be accompanied by director David J. Hughes on piano and organ and assistant director Charles Weaver on 19th-century guitar.

Public Rosary Oct. 14

We are praying a public rosary on October 14th at noon in front of the rectory to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fatima's Miracle of the Sun and the last apparition of Our Lady. This public rosary is a sign of our love for our Blessed Mother and makes reparation for the sins of abortion…

Columbus Day

This past week has seen many instances of the “trash Columbus” movement that surfaced about five years ago. One statue of Columbus in Norwalk and two others in adjoining towns were defaced.
