Synod / Sínodo

The Holy Father has called for a Synod of Bishops in 2023. A synod is an assembly of bishops tasked with counseling the Pope on a subject presented to them by the Pope.

The theme for the 2023 Synod of Bishops is “For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission.” In preparation for this Synod, the Holy Father has called for listening sessions to discern where the Holy Spirit is leading the Church. Every parish is invited to participate.

Please complete the following questionnaire which will be online through Sunday, March 27. The results will be summarized and delivered to the Diocese.

Nuestro Padre ha hecho un llamado por un Sínodo de obispos 2023. Un Sínodo, es una asamblea de obispos a quienes se le ha otorgado aconsejar al Papa acerca de un tema dado a ellos por el Papa.

El Tema para el 2023 Sínoda de obispos es por una iglesia Sínodal: "Comunión, Participación y Misión." Para esta convocación, Nuestro Padre ha llamado a sus feligreses a convocarse y escuchar donde el Espíritu Santo está dirigiendo la iglesia. Cada parroquia está invitada a participar.
