The Rorate Mass is a Mass celebrated in honor of our Lady on a Saturday in Advent. This Mass is always done in darkness with only candlelight. Ideally the sun should begin to rise at the Consecration. “Rorate” comes from the Introit of the day: “Drop down ye heavens from above...”

Concert POSTPONED to Sun. Nov. 23 at 3PM
"De Profundis: The Psalms in Early Devotional Song" will be postponed one week to Sun. Nov. 23 at 3pm. Charles & Elizabeth Weaver will present powerful and personal solo settings of the Psalms from the 16th and 17th centuries, in English, French, Italian, and Latin, including masterpieces by Josquin des Prez, William Byrd, and Claudio Monteverdi.
