GOSPEL OF LIFE SOCIETY
"Our Lady's Message to her beloved children: deciphering the tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe"
Speaker: Erlinda Zelaya

Over 500 years ago Our Blessed Mother came to introduce herself to the people of the New World with the simple message:
“I am the Mother of all God's children who are all deserving of my love.” Her message was delivered miraculously through an image of herself impressed on a simple native's garment that has inexplicably survived to our day. In preparation for the feast of this apparition, come to deepen your understanding of the tilma of Juan Diego: how it spoke particularly to the native Mexicans through its multitude of very specific symbols; and, how it continues to speak to us in our current struggle against a Culture of Death.
Erlinda Zelaya, known to many of us as the Parish Secretary, is a passionate student and devotee of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She has graciously accepted to share her knowledge and passion with us at this meeting.

Our meeting starts at 10 A.M., on December 8, 2018 following the 9 A.M. mass at St. Mary's, Norwalk in the school building. All are welcome. 669 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT - For more information contact: John Juhasz - gospeloflife.stmary@gmail.com
