The summer is quickly waning, which means the St. Mary’s Choir will soon be back in full swing for the new choral season. We always warmly welcome new members who have a love of the sung prayer of the Church and who wish to join us in rendering the chants, motets, and hymns of the 11:00 High Mass. The ability to read music is helpful but not required; we will teach you what you need to know musically, linguistically, and liturgically! The time commitment is reasonable: the Chant Schola will rehearse on Thursday evenings from 6:45 to 7:30, and the full Choir from 7:30 to 9:15. Our first rehearsal of the season will be on Thursday, August 30th.
