BABY DEVELOPMENT

This page is under construction.  Much to come...

This is an exciting page.  It presents articles, charts, ultrasounds and videos that cover the development of the human embryo, from conception to birth -- in various stages of it life.  The media shown here were selected to give you wonderful new understandings, of the developing embryo, in beautiful and inspiring ways.

Baby's Weekly Development --
Based on New Science.

Click below.....

This article includes great descriptions on now the unborn child moves (amazingly just like any other baby), that the unborn child senses (smells, tastes, touch, and pain), that the child knows its mother and is affected by her moods/thoughts/emotions, the child's astonishing learning about the outside world and so much more!  It is very informative and entirely based on science. Be sure to check out:

The Summary:  What Has Science Shown Us?

Appendix 1......giving baby growth details from 1 to 26 weeks - see below chart for 8 weeks

Appendix 2......showing the development of parts of the body,-- see below chart for the brain

Appendix 3......showing the step by step development of the senses -- see below chart for hearing)

See a wonderful photograph -- of the Unborn Child at 16 Weeks (J.C. Willke, M.D.),

Now, get ready. The ultrasounds below are fantastic!

Amazing UltraSounds & Photos

As you will see through this and the following ultrasounds, the fetus is not a passive, dependent, nerveless, fragile vegetable, as some hold.  The fetus is a young human being, whose heart starts beating as early as two weeks, and who is dynamic, responsive to its environment and the mother.

This video is breath-takingly beautiful.

Here's an ultrasound of the Wilkinson Quintuplets moving about and kicking around with explanations by their father.

And a very short ultrasound showing a very active 18 week baby girl.

Here is an ultrasound from YouTube of a 20 week old baby -- just one week younger than Baby Amilia:

Following is another ultrasound from YouTube of a 12 week.  This female baby likes to swim around.  Her parents lovingly called this ultrasound, "The Mermaid".

Here is an ultrasound video from YouTube -- that puts it all together -- showing baby moving, sucking its thumb, listening to Mom's heartbeat (a soothing sound to babies in the womb) and cuddling against Mom.

This video from YouTube sums it all up.

It is hoped that this page will confirm for people on both sides of the issue (pro-choice and pro-life) that the tiny developing embryo is indeed a human who delightfully begins to display human traits and qualities very early in its development -- such as pleasureable responses when mom eats sweet foods and responses of dislike when mom eats bitter foods, bodily movements away from anything uncomfortable, or the child's calming response to familiar and friendly sounds.
