| The Staff at Saint Mary Parish wishes all of our parishioners a Happy Thanksgiving. It is easy to forget that we have much to be thankful for, and the Thanksgiving Holiday is a good reminder for us that God does not need our thanks, but that we need to thank Him. As I have said many times, the simplest definition of humility is recognizing that God is God, and that we are not God. To turn our attention to Him (prayer) and thank Him for His many benefits is fundamental to the exercise of the virtue of humility. | El personal de la Iglesia Santa María desea a todos nuestros feligreses un feliz Día de Gracias. Es fácil olvidar lo mucho que tenemos que agradecer, y esta Fiesta es una buena oportunidad de recordarnos que Dios no necesita de nuestra gratitud, pero que nosotros necesitamos ser agradecidos con El. Como he dicho varias veces, la más sencilla definición de humildad es reconocer que Dios es Dios, y que nosotros no somos Dios.
